Turkish Republic's Minister of Economy Hon. Zafer Çağlayan was in Los Angeles area last week. The minister attended meetings with the leading movie makers and held a number of meetings with the local Turkish community. In a meeting with the Turkish American Associations in Four Seasons Mr. Çağlayan briefed the attendees on the current economic outlook and the incentive programs that are and will be in place to attract foreign direct investment in Turkey as well as supporting small and large Turkish businesses.

In the meeting TABC president was also present, and briefed the minister on the recent TABC activities in entrepreneurship support and Bahcesehir University's recent Silicon Valley office. Our San Francisco Trade Attache Mrs. Ebru Gulsoy Rojas Atencio was also present at the meeting.
