Bahcesehir Science and Technology High School students Naz Geyikci and Burak Ceyhun Karaca came to Silicon Valley this week to present their break through ultrasonic hearing aid to bio-tech and investment community. A team of 4, they created a hearing aid system that requires no surgery on the patient. The team built their prototype using off-the-shelf components at their high school lab.
The team have already presented to investors and entrepreneurs at Starters Lab and Berkeley Skydeck; made presentations about the current and future state of the product. Both panels provided feedback on general product, time to market strategies and alternative ways this product can be used. The duo will have other meetings at Stanford and various bio-tech companies.
